Frequently Asked Questions

What is SimplyGig?

SimplyGig is project management software built for freelancers. It converts your orders, contracts, and client messages from platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer.com into organized tasks so you can stay on top of deadlines and client needs.

How does SimplyGig connect?

Most freelance sites (like Fiverr and Upwork) don’t provide public APIs. Instead, SimplyGig uses smart email parsing to transform your order or contract emails into tasks automatically. That means it works with any account.

Is SimplyGig free?

During the beta, SimplyGig is free to use for testers. Founding beta users will also receive special lifetime perks once we launch our paid plans.

How do I join the beta?

Click “Join the Beta Waitlist” on this site, enter your email, and you’ll be notified when your invite is ready.

Who can use SimplyGig?

SimplyGig is designed for freelancers who manage clients across platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer.com, and Toptal. Whether you juggle one client or many, SimplyGig keeps everything organized in one workspace.

What features are available in the beta?

The first version of SimplyGig includes:

  • Automatic task creation from orders and contracts

  • A kanban-style dashboard view

  • Revision tracking

  • Calendar for due dates

  • Basic client profiles

Will SimplyGig replace platform inboxes?

No. You’ll still communicate with clients inside Fiverr, Upwork, or other platforms, but SimplyGig ensures that none of those conversations or revisions slip through the cracks.

How secure is my data?

We only process the order or contract emails you choose to forward. You’re always in control, and you can stop forwarding at any time.

Do I need technical skills to use SimplyGig?

Not at all. If you can forward an email, you can use SimplyGig. Setup takes just a few minutes.

Can I cancel my beta signup?

Yes. If you decide SimplyGig isn’t for you, you can unsubscribe from beta emails anytime with one click. (We don’t send emails unless you are accepted into the beta)
